“A mind made of glass, cracked by silence.”
The Story
You try to speak—but the signal is lost. You try to be seen—but the image glitches. You try to feel it, but the interface is hollow.
This piece began from that exact feeling—of sitting with yourself and wondering… Am I even here? “Or have I become just a reflection of something I don’t understand? “
“Shattered Signal” is about the breakdown of identity in a world that digitizes emotion. In this world, you’re expected to move, respond, and exist, yet you feel blurry and broken inside. Like your presence is distorted through too many filters and expectations.
The glass skin, the hollow stare, the synthetic shine—it’s not just visual. It’s personal. It’s what it feels like to lose pieces of yourself and not know which ones were real.
And yet, despite the distortion, you’re still here.
There is something beautiful in the breaking. Because sometimes, when the signal is weakest, the truth finally speaks.
Why It Exists
To honor those moments when you feel unrecognizable to even yourself. When you question what is real, what is performance, and where the real “you” begins. This render holds space for disorientation—and offers quiet clarity through the cracks.
Artist’s Personal Note
Some emotions don’t speak—they shimmer, distort, and glitch. But they’re still real. And so are you.
