The Story

Wherever I go, I go with me. Not just in space.
In time. In thoughts. In breakdowns. In breakthroughs.
There are days when I am my worst enemy, when I must protect myself from myself. My thoughts spiral. My heart grows quiet.
The world becomes distant, and I feel like nothing.
Like I am standing in a void, with nothing but the hum of my mind.
But even in that emptiness, there is something.

My eye.

A constant. A mirror. A witness. It is with me in the chaos, and it is with me in the calm and when I feel like I have nothing else, I still have that.
That eye is my art. It is what keeps me here. What reminds me I can bear this.
I can live. I can create and somehow, that makes me feel less alone.

Why It Exists

This piece exists for the moments when everything feels like nothing. When you stand in silence, alone, but not truly. Because there is still one part of you that never leaves. Your eye. Your art. Yourself.

Artist’s Note

I have lived through days where my own thoughts felt louder than any voice in the world, where silence was not peaceful, it was piercing. This piece was born in one of those moments. I did not have answers, only a single truth: I was still here. With my eye. With my art and that was enough to hold onto.
