So small yet held by something greater.
So uncertain yet moving forward because someone believed.

The Story

I have chased dreams that felt too big for me.
I have stood in moments where the path ahead was dark until someone showed me the way.
Not by shouting.
Not by forcing.
Just by standing there. A light I could trust.

Guiding Light is about that unseen force. The presence that holds you steady when your own legs shake.
It could be a person. A memory. A quiet belief planted in you long ago.
Whatever it is, you know it is there. Watching. Holding. Guiding.

The boy in this piece is me.
It is you.
It is everyone who is dared to dream but feared falling.
Standing small in the palm of something greater a mentor, a parent, a friend, life itself knowing that even if the sky is vast and the path unknown, you are not alone.

A few months ago, I am in Berlin far from home, working in an Italian restaurant.
One day, the man who gave me that job looked at me and said:

“Never give up on your dreams. Never.”

I looked him in the eye and said,
Never.

That moment burned itself into me.
A hand reached out one sentence, one belief and it held me steady when I needed it most.

This piece carries that feeling.

Why It Exists

This piece exists for anyone who has been lifted by unseen hands.
For those who carry voices, faces, and moments that guided them through the hardest parts of becoming.

It is a reminder: you did not get here alone.
And neither will the next person.
So when you can, be that hand. Be that light.

Artist’s Note

I created this piece thinking about all the people who have shaped my path some who knew they were doing it, some who never will.
Their words. Their presence. Their belief in me when mine faltered.

I do not know where my journey ends. But if I fall tomorrow, I will fall smiling because I spent my life creating what I love. That is enough.

If this print finds you, I hope it reminds you of your own guiding lights.
And I hope, one day, you will become one for someone else.
