Death Stare was born from that place.

There are days when we chase deadlines, distractions, dopamine and in all the running, we forget this:
You will not be here forever.
And neither will the ones you love.

The boy in this piece is not fearless.
He is frozen caught between the weight of what he has not done, and the fear of what little time remains.
But the skull does not flinch.
It waits.
And so the question hangs in the air:
“What will you do with what’s left?”

Why It Exists

This piece exists for those who have drifted so long they forgot they are drifting.
For the ones numbed by routine, asleep inside their own life.

Death Stare is not meant to comfort you.
It is meant to wake you up.
To strip away the lie that you have time to waste.

You do not.
None of us do.

I did not make this piece to be pretty.
I made it because I needed to look at it too.

Too many times I have caught myself moving through days like I had an endless supply.
I do not. You do not.

There are things you want to do.
People you want to tell you love them.
Risks you keep putting off.
