Light in the Darkness
The light will come.
The Story
Some nights feel endless.
You sit with yourself, and it is heavy.
Not because you cannot see the way forward, but because you’re not sure there is one.
And yet somewhere deep inside, you feel it.
A light. Faint. Flickering. But alive.
Light in the Darkness was born from that space.
Not from winning.
Not from joy.
But from choosing to stand when life asks you to sit down.
From carrying a light when your heart says it is easier to let it go dark.
This boy standing in the middle of the unknown, he is me.
He is you.
He is anyone who is faced their shadow and whispered:
“Not today.”
Why It Exists
This piece exists for anyone who has been through the hard nights and still chose to show up.
For anyone who did not wait for applause or a perfect plan but carried what little light they had and kept walking.
Because sometimes life will strip you of everything, except the choice to keep believing in yourself.
And that is enough.
Artist’s Note
I created this piece to remind myself and maybe remind you that strength is not always loud.
Sometimes it looks like a single step.
Sometimes it feels like a trembling heart.
Sometimes it’s just one small light refusing to go out.
If you are there now in the middle of your dark hold on to that light.
Even one spark is enough to walk through the night.
