So close, you can almost see the dream.
So loud, you can almost hear the doubt.
The louder the echo, the harder you must step forward.
The Story
There are nights when I stand alone my biggest dreams staring right back at me.
And behind them, louder than hope itself, comes fear.
What if I fail?
What if I am not enough?
What if this path swallows me whole?
Echoes of Fear was born from those moments.
Moments when the dream and the doubt both scream and the louder voice depends on whether you keep walking.
The figure in this piece is me.
It is you.
It’s everyone who has ever stood before the vast unknown, arms open not in surrender, but in defiance.
You want to move forward.
But the fog beneath you hides the ground.
The eye above watches with impossible intensity reminding you of everything you want, and everything that could break you.
And yet here you are. Still standing.
Why It Exists
This piece exists for those who battle their fears every step of the way.
For the dreamers who fight inner wars no one sees.
For the ones who know that courage does not mean the fear goes away. It means you walk through it anyway.
Because in every dream worth chasing, fear echoes the loudest right before you break through.
Artist’s Note
I created this piece during a time when my own doubts were deafening.
Working late nights in Berlin, chasing this dream of Blizzzl with no guarantees there were days when fear nearly won.
But art has always been my way forward.
Even when my own voice trembles, I can put it into the work.
If this print finds you, maybe you have felt the same echo in your chest.
If so, know this: you are not alone and the only way is through.
