Some days, you do not need to fight it. Just feel it.
The Story
There is a color no one teaches you how to survive: blue. Not the blue of the sky, the sea, or the kind that lives inside you. The kind that makes everything feel muted—like life is happening, but you’re not in it. You’re just watching. And even that feels too loud sometimes.
I don’t know when it started, but I remember waking up feeling like something was missing—like the light had drained out of everything I loved. The food didn’t taste like anything. The music felt hollow. Even my art—the thing that had saved me so many times—felt distant.
Blue doesn’t break you all at once. It lingers. It waits. It wraps around you until you can’t tell where you end, and it begins. But here’s what I’ve learned: blue is not just emptiness. It’s a kind of growth you don’t recognize until later. It teaches you to sit with yourself. To listen, even when the world is silent. To carry pain—not because you want to, but because you are strong enough to.
Blue stretches you. It pushes your limits, patience, and belief that this will pass. And maybe not today. Maybe not next month. Maybe not for years. But it will.
You don’t know me, but I want you to know this: when you’re in that space, when the blue feels endless—I’m with you. Through this art. Through these words. Through the same silence you’re sitting in. You are not alone.
I’ve had people who reminded me of that—my brothers, parents, and dog. And now, let this be yours.
Blue doesn’t mean you’re broken. It means you’re growing in ways you don’t yet understand.
Why It Exists
Blizzzl was born in the blue.
It is the space between feeling lost and finding yourself again.
Blue is a piece for those who are learning to sit with themselves, to feel deeply, and to trust that this, too, is part of becoming.
This print is for the ones who are still holding on, even when it’s hard.
